Drake Athletics realizes the extreme importance of academics in an athletes life and strives to keep athletes aware of the importance of academics.  

Life is full of surprises and pitfalls and one mishap can abruptly end a promising athletic career, leaving an athlete with nothing to fall back on. Many once-hopeful athletes find themselves unprepared for life when stripped of their athletic abilities.

Drake Athletics wants to make sure that our students have a safety-net: a strong academic foundation that will prepare them to succeed in college and in life, both on and off the field.
