The Drake Athletics "TEAM" is focused on serving children, families, and communities. The purpose of the Drake Athletics program is to assist at-risk boys and girls, ages 5-18, with charting out their futures and helping to guide them in a positive direction where the likelihood of them making positive life decisions is much higher.
Please help Drake Athletics reach it's goal of $25,000 on September 20th, 2018.
Reaching this milestone will provide:
- 2,000 underprivileged children Christmas during our annual toy drive
-Leadership programs at several Title 1 schools districts, impacting over 5,000 students
-Summer Life Skills Sports Camps, where the kids are taught the importance of having character, integrity, discipline, focus, the importance of academics, and to continue dreaming!
Your kind and generous donation will allow Drake Athletics to continue changing the lives of kids, families, and the communities in which they live.
Drake Athletics plans, coordinates and executes promotional activities for the purpose of creating an environment that allows student athletes to succeed on the field and in life. Examples of activities: celebrity sports camps, sports auctions, celebrity golf fundraisers, etc. Our company offers various sports camps throughout the summer months, where student athletes will have an opportunity to be trained by high school, college, and professional coaches, as well as professional athletes.
It is a known fact that young people today face challenges that were not imagined even ten years ago. Peer pressure, academic challenges, social problems and lack of positive role models are just a few of the mountains our young people have to climb daily. In order for them to overcome these obstacles, they need the tools, and to learn proper methods of dealing with these situations.
